The Word International Church is a vision given to Desmond & Mary Thomas in July 2010.  The Church started in their home in South-East London with Rev. Mary Thomas and their two boys Melchizedek and Desmond Jr.  That same year Apostle Desmond Thomas was in Sierra Leone starting another branch of the Church in the capital, Freetown.

The Vision of the Church is to start “Antioch” churches in every continent through which members would be disciplined and trained to take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the rest of that continent.  At the moment we have planted churches on three (3) continents with two more to go.

Come and join this family of believers in Jesus Christ where the love of Christ is our commandment, the faith of Christ our walk, and the holiness of Christ is our nature. The principles of the kingdom of God is our lifestyle and it is by the grace we are saved. We believe in reigning in life through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ through Christ’s death, resurrection and exaltation. 

This Church is an international Church, a kingdom-based church where all nations are welcome.
